The team with the best combined result across both seasons wins the Summer 9s Series.

Format

• 9 holes, played any day from Monday to Sunday. Great for flexible work rosters and social teams.
• Teams of up to 6 players. The best 3 Stableford scores count towards the team total each week.
• Single Stableford. No GA handicap required.
• Check in at the pro shop to activate your round before you tee off, or message Tom if the shop is closed, like on a Monday.
• Maximum score of double par on any hole. Pick it up and move on.
• All scoring is done through the Golfify app.

Cost

• $50 per player for the 10 weeks, that is $5 a week paid upfront.
• Normal green fees apply.

Handicaps

• Members and anyone with a GA handicap start on their 9 hole handicap.
• No handicap? Hand a card in to the pro shop through September and October and we will set one for you. To keep it fair, a non golfer starts on a maximum of 15 for 9 holes.
• Win the week outright, lose half your handicap. Win a ball, lose 1 shot. No prize, gain 1 shot, to a maximum handicap of 20.
• Handicaps are managed in-house to keep the field balanced and competitive.

Scoring and the leaderboard

• Each team's best 3 Stableford scores make up their weekly total.
• The live leaderboard runs weeks 1 to 7, then goes dark for weeks 8, 9 and 10, so nobody sees the standings until finals day.
• Weekly prizes based on the number of entries. Countback decides ties.

Finals and prizes

• After 10 weeks, the top 6 teams qualify for the Grand Final, a 3pm shotgun start on the Sunday.
• Presentation, drinks and prizes to follow. Everyone is welcome, not just the finalists.
• All finalists receive a free round and a free drink.
• Winning team takes a minimum of $500 pro shop cash plus Summer 9s bragging rights.
• Season MVP goes to the highest individual points total across the 10 weeks.
