Here is the difference with our sweep. Players are drawn AFTER the Round 2 cut. Every entry gets a player who made the weekend and can still win the title. No dead tickets.

The more entries, the bigger the pool. 100% of entry fees go back out as prizes.

Entries close at the conclusion of Round 2 play. The draw will be held before Round 3 tees off and results posted on our Facebook page.

Terms and Conditions

1. The Open Sweepstake 2026 (the Sweep) is conducted by Gunnedah Golf Hub, Gunnedah NSW (the Operator) as a sweep under the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) and Community Gaming Regulation 2020 (NSW).
2. Entry costs $10.00 AUD per entry. Entry is available online only at gunnedahgolfhub.com. No in store, phone or cash entries will be accepted.
3. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
4. Each entry purchased equals one entry in the draw. There is no limit on the number of entries a person may purchase, subject to clause 6.
5. Entries open when the product is published and close at the conclusion of Round 2 play of the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale (expected Saturday 18 July 2026 AEST), or earlier if the entry cap in clause 6 is reached.
6. Total entries are capped at the number of players who make the 36 hole cut at the Championship. If entries sold exceed this number, the most recent entries above the cap will be refunded in full.
7. The draw will be held after the official cut is confirmed and before Round 3 tees off. Each entry will be randomly allocated one player from the field of players who made the cut. Each player will be allocated to a maximum of one entry.
8. Allocations will be published on the Gunnedah Golf Hub Facebook page and emailed to entrants using the details provided at checkout. It is the entrant's responsibility to provide accurate contact details.
9. 100% of entry fees form the prize pool. Prizes are awarded based on the official final finishing positions of allocated players at the completion of the Championship, as published by The R&A: 1st place player: 50% of the prize pool 2nd place player: 30% of the prize pool 3rd place player: 20% of the prize pool
10. All prizes are paid as Gunnedah Golf Hub gift vouchers, redeemable in store and online. Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue and are not redeemable for cash.
11. If the official Championship result ties two or more allocated players for a prize winning position, the prize money for the affected positions will be combined and split equally between the relevant entrants. Any playoff result stands as the official finishing order.
12. If an allocated player withdraws, is disqualified or otherwise fails to complete the Championship after the draw, that player's official final classification applies. No replacement player will be allocated and no refund applies.
13. If the Championship is cancelled or abandoned before a winner is declared, all entry fees will be refunded in full.
14. Winners will be notified by email and announced on the Gunnedah Golf Hub Facebook page within 48 hours of the completion of the Championship. Vouchers not claimed within 3 months will be dealt with in accordance with the Community Gaming Regulation 2020 (NSW).
15. The Operator's staff involved in conducting the draw may not enter.
16. The Operator may amend the manner in which the Sweep is conducted provided the Sweep remains fair and impartial, and will notify entrants of any change within a reasonable time.
17. The decisions of the Operator on all matters relating to the Sweep are final.
